A Conservative MP has been arrested on suspicion of rape.

In step with the Sunday Cases, the allegations were made by a feeble parliamentary employee.

The Met Police acknowledged the allegations bellow to four separate incidents alleged to have taken situation between July 2019 and January 2020. The MP has been launched on bail.

The Conservative Birthday party acknowledged it “takes all allegations of this nature extraordinarily seriously”.

The Sunday Cases, which first reported the parable, acknowledged the complainant, a lady in her 20s, alleges that the MP assaulted her, compelled her to have intercourse and left her so traumatised that she needed to head to properly being facility.

The Metropolitan Police acknowledged it had launched an investigation into the allegations.

“On Friday, 31 July, the Metropolitan Police Service obtained allegations referring to four separate incidents animated allegations of sexual offences and assault,” the flexibility acknowledged in an announcement.

“These offences are alleged to have occurred at addresses in Westminster, Lambeth and Hackney between July 2019 and January 2020.

“A man in his 50s used to be arrested on Saturday, 1 August on suspicion of rape. He has been launched on bail to reach abet on a date in mid-August.”

A Conservative Birthday party spokesman acknowledged: “We snatch all allegations of this nature extraordinarily seriously. As this topic is now in the hands of the police it may perchance perchance per chance be damaging to instruct extra.”
