BAY VILLAGE, Ohio (WJW) — Upsetting moments for a neighborhood household after their dog bought by a fence and fell over a cliff of their yard.
The Weingart household of Bay Village says Thursday evening, their four-300 and sixty five days-aged Samoyed named Kyrie chased an animal by the fence of their yard.
Kyrie went over a cliff, which has just a few 30 foot topple into Lake Erie.
“As I approached the fence, the barking stopped. I believed oh my goodness, she went over the ledge. She’s long past,” said Nora Weingart, mother.
Weingart known as the police and so that they straight away dispatched officers and firefighters.
“It modified into as soon as very subtle to survey for the reason that dog had fallen and there modified into as soon as a bunch of weeds and brush,” said Lt. Brandon Dimacchia with the Bay Village Fireplace Division.
Officers shined their flashlights down the cliff unless they spotted her.
“She modified into as soon as appropriate on the very edge of a rock, she didn’t contain much to lend a hand onto the least bit,” said DiMacchia.
Firefighters grabbed their repelling equipment and firefighters, alongside with police, labored collectively to connect the dog.
