UK maritime safety body investigating ‘incident’ in Gulf of Oman – CNN

(CNN)An oil tanker managed by Bermuda essentially essentially based fully transport company Frontline suffered a fire on Thursday morning while crusing thru the Gulf of Oman, a spokesman for the corporate knowledgeable CNN on Thursday.

The causes of the fire on the “Front Altair” are gentle unclear but “all of the crew had been evacuated and they are all good,” the spokesman said.
News of the evacuation comes as a British maritime safety body said it became investigating “an incident” in the Gulf of Oman, after experiences that two oil tankers had been attacked.
“UK and its partners are at remark their private praises investigating,” United Kingdom Marine Alternate Operations (UKMTO), a maritime safety sharing conduit managed by Britain’s Royal Navy said in an advisory on Thursday.
CNN has reached out to the UKMTO for added knowledge.
CNN has been unable to substantiate if an right attack had taken situation.
